Historic charm meets modern flow in this Summit Hill condo. By removing walls and reworking the layout, we created space for entertaining, conversation, and connection. From a soulful powder room to a sculptural kitchen, this home now holds both beauty and real-life function in equal measure.
When returning clients called us to reimagine their 1904 condo, we were thrilled to help bridge old-world charm with their modern lifestyle. The existing layout funneled guests through a cramped kitchen and isolated the dining room, making entertaining feel disjointed and frustrating. Our first move? Remove the butler’s pantry and multiple walls to create one seamless, expansive entertaining zone.
With the kitchen and dining room now open, we layered in warmth and detail: alder cabinetry, soapstone counters, and a blue tile backsplash that adds just the right touch of personality. We also carved out a jewel-box powder room from the oversized laundry space and transformed the dated primary bath into a luminous retreat. Throughout the home, thoughtful storage, layered lighting, and reintroduced historic trim tie the past and present together with quiet confidence.
