Client Testimonial:

This is the second time we've hired Colleen and Fox Interiors. We loved what she did in our last apartment and we love what she did here. Both projects had special requirements and unique problems which she solved quickly. For this project we wanted to keep as much of the historical legacy as we could while updating the amenities and restoring what had been lost by prior occupants. Sometimes this required rebuilding transoms and matching old floor boards. Some people who have seen the results couldn't tell what was added from what was original. Our first plan changed when a wall we didn't think was going to be removed had to be replaced and while it was gone we decided to leave it out. Colleen adapted instantly and the result is even better that what we had first designed. Colleen is super easy to work with and patient with us. She helped us avoid mistakes and always explained everything clearly. It looks great and works super.

Historic charm meets modern flow in this Summit Hill condo. By removing walls and reworking the layout, we created space for entertaining, conversation, and connection. From a soulful powder room to a sculptural kitchen, this home now holds both beauty and real-life function in equal measure.

When returning clients called us to reimagine their 1904 condo, we were thrilled to help bridge old-world charm with their modern lifestyle. The existing layout funneled guests through a cramped kitchen and isolated the dining room, making entertaining feel disjointed and frustrating. Our first move? Remove the butler’s pantry and multiple walls to create one seamless, expansive entertaining zone.

With the kitchen and dining room now open, we layered in warmth and detail: alder cabinetry, soapstone counters, and a blue tile backsplash that adds just the right touch of personality. We also carved out a jewel-box powder room from the oversized laundry space and transformed the dated primary bath into a luminous retreat. Throughout the home, thoughtful storage, layered lighting, and reintroduced historic trim tie the past and present together with quiet confidence.
