  • No more brown tile in the bathrooms
  • Add more functional storage throughout the kitchen
  • Add double vanity to Kids’ bathroom to reduce daily conflicts

Design Solutions

  • Cohesive palette of white, gray and blue utilized in all four rooms in different combinations
  • New shallow sideboard in breakfast area adds storage to a previously wasted footprint
  • Appliance garage allows for easy access to key appliances while minimizing clutter on the counters
  • Full wall of pantry cabinets maximized storage capacity over previous configuration
  • Taller wall cabinets take advantage of vaulted ceiling in Kitchen
  • New vanity in Guest Bathroom offers storage and counter space unlike the previous pedestal sink
  • Double vanities with separate drawer stacks and two medicine cabinets allow the kids’ their own spaces

The Details That Make It Work

About Colleen

I live in Minneapolis with my landscape architect/urban designer husband, my daughter who believes she’s my design assistant and sous chef, an independent Siamese, a feisty grey-striped kitten, and a menagerie of turkeys and other wild animals who visit our backyard for the free food. When I’m not designing, you’ll often find me cooking up a Paleo feast, cheering for my daughter's volleyball team, playing pickleball, or hiding in a corner with my nose in a book.
